I’ve had a go at making a logo for my comic project Tales from Trundlewood. This was made with the HollyWords product (available from the DAZ Store), while listening to a virtual Miami Beach townhall meeting debating an 8pm curfew for visitors (thankfully not us residents).

My original vision was something like a sign you’d find at the entrance of a town, mentioning the population and a welcome message, mounted next to a large tree. Then I found this and thought it’ll do just fine for now.

The plan is to use it as logo and title screen on the episodes, as well as a banner image for website. The space next to the sign is an ideal place for headshots of the main characters.

Speaking of Trundlewood, the next episode of my practice comic Backstage Beats has been scripted and I’m ready to start ”shooting”. In fact I’ve been meaning to do this since last week, but prep work and lighting on a new set always takes ages. I’ve also been putting some products through the ringer to see what may work for what, but I’ll tell you more about that over a few test renders next.

Very nice and the lighting makes it pop. Great job. Looking forward to seeing more from this project.
