I was in the middle of a shit day at the end of a shit week and Shamus saves me. I fall into the category of people who actually can't stop listening. Nothing else I listen to holds my attention like he does, the bizarre takes he has, the dialect he has developed and cultivates, and the fact he argues with himself is amazing. His uneasiness with people following him, or with people promoting him, strikes me as a childlike reaction to touching fire. I suspect he has led a fucked up life, he does the best he can, and he absolutely made me feel like shit for laughing at him when he got into the argument with his frog dad. Dead Town is great, the Briefcase is amazing, but check out Thank you Very Much, listening to him bitch about Tony Danza is the highlight of my month.

Wow! This is a real honour, I must say. First, I'd like to thank the podcast gods for blessing us with the precious specimen that is Famous Sheamus and his aimless ramblings from the closet. Next I need to acknowledge his two young sons' generous sacrifice- they have selflessly given up both their childhoods and any hope for a future, just so that we may experience the continued delight of listening to their father's inane and asinine musings on nothing much in particular. I had no intense urination experience. I was taking MDMA alone. No idea how much water I drank or how long I sat listening to music, but when I did finally jump out the window into my garden, I swear I had a constant stream for 4 minutes.
