Great reaction, I've been waiting for it for a long time. As you may have noticed, in some episodes they change the animation for a moment and the girls no longer appear as chibis, they have done it as a kind of preview for the movie that will use that new animation style. The first movie will be released next month, and it will be a trilogy. However, as far as I know, they haven't said anything about a global release. In episodes 1, 6, and 11 the song that plays in the background when they pose together is "Ryouran! Victory Road"; it's one of Nijigasaki's most popular songs. Both the title and the outfits they wear during the episodes reference the song, even the pose is the one they do at concerts. In some concerts they have sung that song with different combinations of girls from other Love Live groups (Liella, Hasunosora, Aqours), they even sang it together with some girls from IdolM@ster, Bang Dream, D4DJ. Depending on who sings it, they adapt parts of the lyrics. I recommend listening to the original version of the song in case you didn't know it. Episode 2: At minute 19:33, the background song that plays is called "Twilight". Episode 3: In this episode, there are 4 segments. First, R3BIRTH (Shioriko, Mia, and Lanzhu) appear, who are the last to join the club. The curious thing about this episode is that later, the girls appear in each segment according to how they divided up their activities many years ago when they first started this project. At first they started their activities on 3 apps: Dengeki Online (Kasumi, Karin, Setsuna), Famitsu (Ayumu, Ai, Rina) and the official SIF website (Emma, Shizuku, Kanata) Oh and just for fun, Ayumu is following Yu around 22:34 (very far in the background), and her shadow is seen around 22:43 to 22:45 Episode 4: This one might not be a very big trivia. But the hair clip that Ai gives to Shioriko is exactly the same as the one that Shioriko is seen wearing in one of the cards you get in the School Idol Festival All Stars video game. Episode 5: At 27:07 it's a reference to episode 2 of the first season of Nijigasaki where Karin finds Ayumu also doing adorable poses right in the same place. Episode 6: At minute 30:24 the bear-shaped carts that R3BIRTH are driving is a reference to one of R3BIRTH's concerts where the seiyus used those same carts on stage. Episode 10: The song Mia played is the piano version of her first solo song "I'm Still..." (in the anime her first solo is "Stars we chase"). The song that plays when Mia puts the earpiece on Yu is called "Hurray Hurray". And lastly the song Yu played is "Nijiiro Passions!". Episode 11: It is not directly related to the episode, but Nijigasaki does have a fantasy-themed version, it is a spinoff of them called "Legend of Nijigaku" which is an interactive novel where Setsuna is the protagonist, she is a Holy Knight; Ayumu is the princess of the kingdom and the rest of the girls have professions like priests, witches, alchemists and others of that style. In fact, that spinoff has a second part and it existed long before Genjitsu no Yohane but they never animated it. Season 2 also has 3 episodes that are exclusive to the Blu-ray. I've already seen them and they're pretty good, although I didn't understand everything because I saw them without subtitles.
