The order is correct.. I'm a big fan of bandori but also of evangelion. 😁 Aiai (roselia singer) is a bug fan too. She was select for bandori by singing this Opening. Very glad to watch it again with you. You can call it EVA it's fine, character will do too. There are famous seiyuu, the most famous for me is Rei seiyuu. Be chill about the story, it will blow your mind no matter what 😅

When you get to it I would still recommend watching the first rebuild movie (Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone). It isn't as plot critical, but there are still some differences in how events and character relationships are framed that add some depth to rebuild overall. Also even though it’s way too early to say this, don’t miss the after credits scene of the 2.0 rebuild movie, I think I did on my first time watching it. You definitely can analyze the story and I personally have a lot of fun doing that. Just don’t get caught up on “why didn’t character do y instead of x” type stuff or expect every in-universe term to be explained or be explainable. Otherwise you can definitely get pretty invested and end up with a pretty decent understanding of how things work and why they play out the way they do. Also, there’s EVANGELION:3.0 (~46h) that is a little bonus that takes place between rebuild 2.0 and 3.0 chronologically but I would probably watch it after 3.0, although it’s short and not plot critical at all if you end up ignoring it.
