- MLW's Superfight served as the wrap up and the switch to a new direction for upcoming storylines.

- We're told that the MLW action figures sold out at MLW Superfight and are selling well online.

- CONTRA Unit is adding more "soldiers" to their MLW stable. Both former and new. 

- Yuji Nagata coming out with beers to celebrate his friend Kojima's title victory was not planned. Nagata was seen in Gorilla with a bunch of beers and asking a referee to help bring them out for him. Kojima had no idea he was going to be dunked with beers. Backstage, the two had a moment celebrating together. 

- Fightful will be at tonight's WWE Raw event in Lexington, KY. 

- Rey Mysterio, Titus O'Neil, Mojo Rawley, Britt Baker, Bayley, Jimmy Uso, Naomi, Mercedes Mone, and management for Paragon Talent Group were at the Super Bowl on Sunday.

- AJ Francis, Gail Kim, Orange Cassidy and Tony Khan all were in Las Vegas during Super Bowl weekend, with several doing media. 

Veda Scott

Fightful Select recently had the opportunity to catch up with Veda Scott at WrestleCade.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp spoke with the Independent Wrestling Commentator and Wrestler.

Veda mentioned to us this was her second WrestleCade appearance. The topic of Baseball came up when Veda said she grew up in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania area. Veda said she is a massive fan of the Minor League Baseball team, Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. Veda said her Mother is a season ticket holder. Veda also noted that Ring of Honor’s Ian Riccaboni is from the area, too.

Veda talked about her Twitch streaming and said it is important to her career. She mentioned how she enjoys connecting with fans who follow her Twitch streams.

Veda said she is, first and foremost, a wrestling fan. She mentioned her love for Death Matches. She talked about her husband and IMPACT Wrestling Star “Speedball” Mike Bailey. Veda says he has one of the most brilliant minds in the wrestling business. She said it comes from his creative side. Veda also says she will go to any wrestling shows that she can.

She said she looks forward to having a full schedule in 2024 and also mentioned her excitement about NJPW being a regular home for her. Veda said it took her a long time to work her way into New Japan, and at one point, she never thought it would be a possibility that would exist.

In closing, Veda told us when working with other announcers, she will ask questions and absorb the information. She said it was incredible working with Tom Hannifan of IMPACT. Veda says Hannifan gave her a lot of advice at the IMPACT/New Japan Multiverse United Pay-Per-View. She also mentioned how she’s been working with Matthew Rehwoldt regularly at Revolver. Veda also said to work with Dave Prazak a few times a month has been incredible. Veda told us she recently started working with Deadlock Pro, Caprice Coleman, and Rich Bocchini.
