Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp caught up with Rhea Ripley at the WrestleMania Kickoff in Las Vegas during the week of the Super Bowl.

Sean mentioned the discourse around Rhea’s match at WrestleMania 39 against Charlotte Flair. He mentioned they went out there with something they wanted to prove, and Rhea agreed. Rhea told Fightful, “I understand why we weren’t the main event. I do. I have to give it to the guys. They had a very compelling story going into WrestleMania to the point that Mami was interested, and Mami wanted to see who was going to come up victorious.”

Rhea added that she wanted that main event spot as the Royal Rumble winner. She said she did have a point to prove going into the semi-main event. They wanted to show everyone they could have been the main event. Rhea again would add that she completely understood and had no issues with the guys, but she was a little bit jealous.

Sean asked Rhea if R-Truth was a member of Judgment Day, and she said, “No.” When asked about JD McDonagh, she said yes. Sean mentioned he interviewed Cody Rhodes, and Cody mentioned the size of his head. Rhea smiled and said, “Of course he did. Yeah, look, his head is a little bit bigger than normal. He’s got a lot of knowledge in there, unlike a lot of you.”

Sean asked Rhea about adding to Judgment Day. Sean recommended himself, and Rhea replied, “You? Absolutely bloody not.” When asked who she would bring to the faction, she said either Cathy Kelly or Samantha Irvin.

Rhea talked to us about getting a new Women’s World Championship Belt. Rhea said, “I was excited because that’s a history-making event. That’s something that everyone’s going to remember.”  Rhea said a lot of times people get it wrong when they announce her. They would just say “Women’s Champion.” Rhea said, “Women’s World Champion. World. I’m the champion of all the women in the world. That’s the thing because Mami’s always on top. So I’m on top of the world.”

Rhea said she would be up for the challenging for Men’s titles. Rhea said, “I’m always down for a challenge. I love a good challenge. So if that opportunity were to arise, I would 110% be down.”

The interview would end with Sean thanking Rhea for bringing him on to Judgement Day.

What I took away from this is that SRS is the new leader of Judgement Day.
