Fightful Select caught up with former WWE Divas Champion Natalya at WWE Royal Rumble Media Day.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp mentioned a social media post where Natalya tagged some movie studios. Natalya said she could not confirm but could not deny the report. She added that there is something she’s been working on that is really close to her heart.

She said it’s something that she has been working on for a while now and that wrestling is in such a boom period right now.

Natalya said there are so many incredible stories that have never been told that are great for her family and celebrate everything we’ve built. She added that it is close to her heart and is working on it.

Sean mentioned that Rory Culkin was tagged in the post, and Natalya said he is a huge wrestling fan. Rory and his brothers (Macaulay and Kieran Culkin) were sitting in the front row at SummerSlam when she won the Women’s Championship at the Barclays Center.

Natalya mentioned the possibility of a potential series. She said her family has such a wide range of stories. Natalya said that it could spin off into so many different things. She said she watched ’The Iron Claw’ and loved the movie.

She said after seeing it, She sent her Uncle Bret (Bret “The Hitman” Hart) a text, telling him he needed to see it. Natalya added that her Father, Jim Neidhardt, wrestled against Kerry Von Erich in Kerry’s last match.

Natalya said Bret told her the Von Erichs got into professional wrestling through her grandfather, Stu Hart. Natalya said Stu met Fritz Von Erich in Edmonton when he was trying out for a Canadian Football team.

She said when Stu met him, he said, “You should get into wrestling.” The Von Erich family lived at the Hart house for a few months.

Sean mentioned Natalya is sometimes the subject of memes. Natalya said that sometimes, things fly out of my mouth when she wrestles.  She added that I’m not good at trash-talking but would add that when it comes down to it, you know you can count on her.
