Fightul Select had the opportunity to meet up with WWE Raw SuperStar Ivy Nile on WWE Royal Rumble Media Day.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp spoke with Ivy. Sean asked Ivy how everyday life has changed since her callup. Ivy told Sean that it’s been an adjustment. Ivy said it’s been incredible. The Creeds will have a match, and then she’s going toe-to-toe with Rhea Ripley. The traveling is cool, and she has not traveled much before.

Sean would ask Ivy what feedback she received after her match against Ripley from WWE Raw Day 1. Ivy said, “Some of the feedback was just have more urgency. Ivy added that she would be ready the next time they met.

Ivy would add that she had not been challenged like that before. Rhea was her first huge challenge. Ivy told Sean that many people were proud of me that I was going toe-to-toe with someone like Rhea.

When asked how she got the news about her call up to the main roster and going to Raw. Ivy said it was more of a spur-of-the-moment type of thing. She said there were nerves, and going from watching it every Monday to being on it is something she cannot put into words. She added, “You watch it, and then you’re on it; it’s absolutely insane.”

Sean would ask Ivy when she realized that she was capable of things most others couldn't do. Ivy said she was homeschooled growing up and did not play any sports or do any team-building activities. She said she figured it out on her own. Ivy said when she got older, she would get advice from coaches and others.

Ivy said she knew she was destined for something and always tells people that if you work hard, whatever it is, and whenever it shows up, you’ll be ready. She added that it is a true testament to her life and how she got to where she is now.

Sean would ask Ivy how she felt about possibly having an MMA-style match with a UFC fighter. Ivy asked if Miesha Tate was still in the UFC. Ivy said she thinks the world of her and is also a huge fan of Ronda Rousey. She added that she would do pretty well going toe-to-toe but believes they are better being allies.
