A big name in IMPACT could hit free agency very soon.

As of March, Former IMPACT Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace was set to become a free agent, Fightful Select has confirmed. We'd originally reported this date when she'd signed her last contract, but as we've seen with several wrestling contracts, that's hardly set in stone when extensions, raises, and injury time can be added to deals. We haven’t learned if Grace has signed a deal since that period.

Grace has become a millionaire outside of pro wrestling via her exclusive content site, but we have no insight on how or if that will weigh into an eventual decision. We're told that IMPACT Wrestling at the time, would have "ideally" like to retain the 27-year old star.

Grace signed a two-year contract extension in 2021, which followed her 2019 two-year contract. The 2019 contract was particularly interesting because despite someone in IMPACT leaking that she'd signed a deal with the company in the fall of 2018, the paperwork actually never got finalized, and Grace was working without a contract for several months. Shortly after the launch of AEW and when WWE was securing long term deals, Grace approached IMPACT with this information and was able to secure a raise over the originally agreed terms.

Grace lost in the main event of IMPACT Rebellion.

Didn't her husband just sign with Impact? I can't imagine her leaving.

Im not sure a door is open with WWE or AEW

I doubt she's leaving

She could still leave for WWE

If she’s making that much with exclusive, content, and her whole bodybuilding competition thing now, I can’t imagine her going to WWE. I’m sure she’d get paid more than at Impact but would lose out on those perks.

Nah she’s not giving up her outside income to go to NXT for maybe 1k a week.

They worked in different companies for years. IMPACT is a 20 weekend a year job

She's definitely not going to AEW after what happened with her husband. She'd have to give up her OnlyFans to go to WWE. So I suspect she's going to stay with Impact.

After tonight’s loss she might be going to WWE with a huge contract

Even as a one-off, the World needs Jordynne Grace vs Jade.

The Mayor Pete

They are being used in AEW but the key part of the storyline is that they are ex-WWE. So good point, they aren't really being used.

They're being used in AEW *on YouTube.* On conventional television, it's basically the same one of two matches every frikkin' week--the only difference coming if it's singles or tag.

Jade's fine for where she is at this stage of her career. She just doesn't have the luxury that most at this stage of their career have, of not being in front of hundreds of thousands of people while she's progressing and developing.
