Keith Lee spoke to Grapsody for a new interview.

Keith said that the Keith Lee that left was not the entirety of what he sees himself as. He wants his new look and vision to represent a middle finger to society and companies that tell you what you need to look like. He said he saw his first grey hairs at 16 years old, and wants people to be comfortably with themselves. Specifically, he wants people to be the best versions of themselves without that coming at the expense of their natural looks.

Lee said that he did about five or six weeks of in-ring training before returning to the ring from his near death experience. He said it was the most effort he's put into an in-ring return, and he's never really needed a ring to get ready to come back. He said a lot of the physical feats he's done like landing on his feet on a monkey flip attempt was something he's not trained. He's also never trained to dive or do moonsaults.

He calls his AEW run as "a bit of an experiment that has been interesting, intriguing and educational to experience something way different than where he's from. He was a bit in character and said that Swerve Strickland is evil, but the odd part is that he still loves the guy.

Lee also mentioned training Muay Thai with JD Griffey.

He also said that Rick Ross' promos were in one take.

The interview drops in full Friday, where quotes can be aggregated
