#DIY on WWE Tag Team Title Design, RKO Skits (Patreon)

Fightful had the opportunity to catch up with the former WWE Tag Team Champions Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa of #DIY at WWE SummerSlam Media Day.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp kicked things off by talking about Football. Sean showed off his Bengals jersey to known Browns fan Johnny Gargano. Gargano jokingly said the years of being a Browns fan have taken its physical and mental toll on him but noted they are in happier times now. Gargano asked Sean what Joe Burrow’s record was against the Browns. [Note: Burrows is 1-5]

Gargano noted that his son will be a very proud Cleveland Browns fan.

Sean would mention the design of their tag titles. Gargano told Sean, “We are biased, but we think this is the prettiest [title] design in all of WWE.”

The former NXT Champion Gargano told Fightful he wouldn’t be where he is today if he wasn’t born in Cleveland. Gargano said being a native of Clevland hardens you and builds you into a certain person. Gargano said people come to the city all the time and talk crap about it.

Sean would bring up Ciampa’s RKO skits, to which Ciampa responded by saying, “Skits? It’s real life. Skits.” Sean would say to Triple H [Ciampa], “Shouldn’t you know more being in Evolution with Orton?

In closing, Sean tells Triple H [Ciampa] that he received a question from Ron “RTruth” Killing, and he wants him to ask why Triple H is following Randy Orton. Ciampa would respond by saying, with Truth, sometimes you forget to give him his meds.
