FREE POST: Final Match Set For North Wrestling Thunderstruck (Patreon)

Two of the most prominent names on the British independent scene are scheduled to face off on July 13th for North Wrestling at their Thunderstruck show.

Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has learned that at the July 13th event, Michael Oku and Mark Haskins are set for action, with their partners Amira and Vicky Haskins set to be at ringside for the bout. The match will take place at Thunderstruck from the Walker Dome in Newcastle.

Michael Oku previously challenged for the NORTH Wrestling Championship back in February, coming up short to Leon Slater in an almost 30 minute war for the championship. Oku is currently the Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion and has recently made appearances in CMLL alongside Amira.

Mark Haskins previously challenged for NORTH Wrestling gold himself late last year, when he also challenged Leon Slater for the title at IMPACT Turning Point last year. Haskins is also coming off a Progress World Title challenge and multiple recent title wins in Ireland.

Fightful's Corey Brennan reached out to Haskins, who said "You’ve travelled the world showing everyone how great you’ve become but now it’s time to buckle up buttercups, Mummy and Daddy are about to take you to school.”

This match joins the likes of Elijah vs Joe Hendry, Lizzy Evo vs Miyu Yamashita and a North Wrestling Championship match between Leon Slater and Man Like DeReiss.
