Fightful Select had the opportunity to chat with TNA’s Killer Kelly in Indianapolis at the Squared Circle Expo. The former two-time IMPACT World Tag Team Champion spoke with Sean Ross Sapp for an exclusive interview.

The conversation began with Kelly and Sean joking around how she was still under contract with TNA when it was reported that she was not for a brief period.

Sean mentioned how she left WWE very quietly in 2019. Killer Kelly said it was great; she asked herself, “What were my goals?” She told Sean that she wanted to work at GCW’s Bloodsport.

She said she aspired to work in Bloodsport. She recalled watching WALTER and Timothy Thatcher compete in the event once and knew she wanted to do it. Kelly said when she got the chance to compete in it, it was the most fun she ever had in the ring.

Kelly told Sean that she is working toward getting her Green Card.

Sean mentioned the Fightful Select report regarding the upcoming short film Arachnid. TNA’s Matthew Rehwoldt (a.k.a. Aiden English) will also be in the film. She said she randomly posted on Twitter that she wanted to do it. The film is directed, written, and produced by Luke Paron.

Kelly was asked about her facial expressions and said it was natural for her. Former WWE Superstar Mansoor stopped by, made an appearance, and jokingly told everyone she hated America because she knocked over the United States flag. Mason Madden also appeared,

Killer Kelly is from Portugal and said she began learning English when she was five. Pro wrestling also contributed to her understanding of the language she said.

Kelly talked about the time she went viral with the spot she had with Rosemary. She noted the clip had more than 1 million views.

Killer Kelly says one of her future goals is to open a cat haven and save all the cats. In closing, She also told Fightful that she is rewatching The Walking Dead.

Absolutely love Killer Kelly … hope she is someone who continues to make a name for herself and blows up on the indies to where WWE picks her up again or she goes to AEW. No shade to Tatum Paxley I really like her but she deff bit off some of Kelly’s mannerisms. They seem friendly about it on twitter which is great though
