What an interesting concept having them be the "nightmares"! That's such a fun turn of events for a concept and I love it! I can't wait to see them grow through this concept as well because we are already seeing growth from their previous group to now and I am HERE for it!

Ah yes, my wheelhouse: Dreamcatcher lore. They are all nightmares and the guy in the MV is a Nightmare Hunter that is trying to capture them. If you see in the MV, there's a lot of visual symbology that the ladies are... not alive. (For this part, I do need to disclaim that I'm very aware that Korea and Japan are two different cultures. All of the Nightmare series is heavily inspired by J-rock both in concept and sound. Therefore, I say that their borrowing of Japanese cultural tidbits is very allowed.) For one, their stage outfits all look like yukata... and they're belted right over left. Only the dead are dressed that way. The artwork all over the walls is very macabre, like the artwork of the very early Renaissance when everyone was still dealing with the trauma of Black Death. There's a few other hints here and there (like Jiu being clearly remembered but not picked up on camera) that they're disembodied spirits that have become literal nightmares. Each of their nightmares is represented their actions in the MV: Jiu - being chased (she chases the nightmare hunter down the hallway) Sua - being unable to move/sleep paralysis (you never see her physically moving unless it's in the flashback) Siyeon - being trapped in a small space/claustrophobia (she trapped the nightmare hunter in his room Handong - being watched (she looks at the nightmare hunter through the peep hole and through the window (...when he's on like the 8th floor) Yoohyeon - being lost in a strange place (she changes all of the room numbers to confuse the nightmare hunter) Dami - being hurt (she's the only one that we don't fully see in their old timey clothes, and she's the one that rips the eyes off the bear and is in the center of the "sacrifice" during her verse) Gahyeon - falling from a high place (she knocks books off a high shelf, itls more poltergeist behavior but we see her falling in Good Night) Their facial expressions on stage are supposed to be creepy, a little vacant, malicious - absolutely nothing like Minx. (Much to Siyeon and Dami's relief, they were the two that benefitted the most from the change of concept.) Some points of the choreography that have direct references in lyrics: The first line is "they keep saying I can't look at it" - the pairings behind Jiu with their eyes getting covered At 1:47 in the video Gahyeon's line is "this quiet world is going to get a lot of noise" and in the canon you can see various listening poses. At 2:24 Sua's line is "with the bite of a red apple" and everyone takes a "bite" At 2:42 Gahyeon goes "take out all your memories and throw them in your dream" and she spins behind Siyeon who has the line "like the storm rages, I'll make you dizzy" - everyone is spinning like a storm. 2:51 Jiu sings "a cozy pillow will get a little wet" (tears from nightmares) and she makes a gesture of laying her face against her hands (like sleeping) 3:19 Siyeon's line is "I'm so busy I have a lot of places to go" (she's throwing off restraining hands) 3:48 Sua's line is "like you're out of breath" when she arches her back - like she's gasping for air or drowning and the next line is "my trick is changed every day" when she comes back up (I'm guessing meaning that she's going perform a different scary gesture) Their spacing and canons continue to be amazing and ooooh boy I can't wait to see your face with Good Night. Their fixed doll expressions with the creepy music box.
