Oh gosh! So many notes here! I first found XG through one of their rap cyphers. This was my first comeback song of theirs I watched, and this song is what drew me into choreography! So fun, and draws out so many emotions (excitement, awe, some tears). This was it and they’ve been my favorite group ever since. Some things from your reaction which as always was incredible. 1. Yes the girl in the baggy shirt (Jurin) is the group leader. She also helps with the creation of their choreography. 2. Cocona and Harvey you got right! And you know all of the names. That’s so impressive. For me it took a while to distinguish between Juria and Chisa. While Juria is my bias in this group, Jurin is my favorite dancer. 3. I never thought of their vibes having an impact on how they looked dancing depending on the type of song (like you pointed out for Cocona) so I had to go back and watch some of the others and I see it so much more now. I’m so excited to see your reaction to their next song (left right) and beyond. This group has made a big impact on my life and the way I view music / dance overall. Thanks again for another amazing breakdown.

Also yesssss your 3/3 harvey and cocona correct plus jurin is the leader. Thatll probably help u remember her name too! She is also the lead choreographer amongst the girl idols, leads and makes the decisions

I love this song and the choreography for it! Your first instinct is correct - that's Cocona that you pointed out with the baggy jeans and vest over t-shirt (and having done Bailey Sok's choreo). Jurin had the Tims and plaid baggy long-sleeved shirt. I'm so happy that they've each made enough of an impression that you've learned all the members names already! The competition between getting something clean and maintaining individuality is really interesting. I'm not sure who does their cleaning - in some of the early dance practice behind-the-scenes, you can see some of the members helping to guide others, but I don't think they've gone into that level of detail to date. You are correct that Jurin, in the plaid top, is the leader - and now I'm really curious to hear what she was is doing that caused you to pick that up. How did I never notice the hand position throughout the track? Very nice detail. The bridge with the in-place rotation (the leg spacing point was something I'd never thought about), the rotating reveals, shooting the star, then the framed scene is one of my favorite parts. So much to look at. I'm also always amazed at how Chisa (in the black and white jacket) goes from the center at the beginning of the bridge to getting into place in the circle before they do the shooting movement - very subtle shimmy into the space prepared for her that kind of makes it look like she disappeared as Juria takes center. I never noticed the differences in the head isolation on the last chorus - neat! Glad you're enjoying your XG journey!

i actually covered this song (i was harvey) in my dance club and it quickly became one of my favorite XG choreos and songs because of how fun it was! i did fight for my life a bit, but honestly so worth it bc it’s just such a vibe i love it 😭 i loveee hearing your insights especially about choreography i already know/learned so i can understand it better and even improve myself!
