This was a pre-release to left and right from the haengarae album. Hengarae being to throw someone up in celebration and the album is meant as a pep talk for young people. The lyrics to the song talk about basically slow down, take your time, find happiness in the journey and don’t let other people decide your life or take the joyful moments from you and the story they told in the choreo really completes the whole concept perfectly imo. It gives healing adventure and nostalgia. And as someone who is also an older fan, (I’m in my mid 30s) absolutely 100% agree with the holding on to your childhood wonder. Honestly, it’s one thing I really love about K-pop as I feel like I get to access a piece of my inner child and hold onto it And nurture it. I think one of Seventeens strengths is that they can really capture and convey that feeling of community and friendship in fun in a way that feels very accessible and relatable to the consumer. I can’t think about too many groups that interact in the same way as they do on stage where it really feels like you’re watching people that really like each other having fun with each other while they’re performing. It’s feels like a style hallmark of theirs.

As the other commenter said, the Henggarae album was all about uplifting and encouraging young people on their journey to adulthood. I feel like this era particularly resonated with people in their early to mid-20s, who are in this confusing line where society expects you to be a responsible adult and have your shit together but you're really still figuring things out. The album came out during the first covid wave where everything felt especially anxious and uncertain, and it really like a breath of fresh air, a safety pocket where you could lay down all your worries and just exist for a while, then be recharged and ready to take on the whole world.

Actually, this song comes after Fallin' Flower! The hand movement they do here at 1:30 is actually the reverse of a dance... motif? (I guess that's the word for it lol) from FF!
