Not sure if you realized it, but this is a cover of a HOT song, so a First Gen boy group song. Seventeen really went all out and had fun in their covers during their rookie years! I think one of the reasons they gained so much respect as rookies is that they really respected the tone of the songs they covered - this is especially true for the girl group songs they covered. I feel like so often the boy groups want to like make it more masculine or edgy to compensate and Seventeen was always just like, nope, watch us be cute and "girly" haha. Even on your own time, it might be fun to check out some of the girl group covers they did, they just exude fun!

They used to practice this song as trainees, so sometimes you can find little clips of them doing this dance at like 14 years old. It's so nostalgic to me and just really gives of the same energy as those 13 teenagers stuck in a melon basement doing their best to debut and have fun doing it
