The "aegyo move" as you called it is actually Korean Sign Language for "pretty", it's supposed to look like blush and a hairpin! They do some KSL in their upcoming dances too, Thanks is the one that comes to mind quickest. They also did film this dance practice in a coffee shop lol

Fun fact : Hoshi and Choi Youngjun came up with the sofa choreo while messing around on the couch of a coffee shop (or pastry shop ? don't remember exactly). But Pledis wasn't convinced by the idea at first so Hoshi made a whole ass Powerpoint presentation for their CEO on why the sofa choreo was the best fit for the song and ended up convincing them lol

The one you pointed out for having some dead space is different than the one you noticed in mansae! At the time they were much more held to their personality “concepts.” Joshua is supposed to be a gentleman and so he seemed a little bit stiff in mansae, and he also didn’t have as much experience as a member who joined later in their trainee period. In the early days I remember Joshua having his go-to poses and gestures that he would use while center, but I think he has absolutely loosened up over time. For this one, Wonwoo was a part of the more “cool” group as a cold visual, which maybe had him seeming more stoic compared to when he was really having fun with everything in mansae! Thank you for the analysis!

Ahh!! Thank you for clarifying that!! I just recently finished up recording for the next ones on the list and I can definitely see that!

Another fun fact about this choreo is that during one of their performances, joshua who is the feature for the last chorus actually made a mistake and started early. Here is that performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ur243WXPEpA and because of course this is seventeen we're talking about, after that they changed the choreo and started performing the song that way

I watched your reaction/analysis videos for GOM, Adore U & Mansae and then the Inside SVT (GOM dance rehearsals) in youtube and knowing that you actually dedicated an entire month for SVT discography, I'm of course ALL IN on that so here I am... Gotta binge watch! I really really like and appreciate how you deep dive on them and also have fun or feel what they're trying to convey each time. Thank you for giving them your time :))
