Aw, its okay, dont worry, I shed tears to this song, too. Their Allergy & Queencard era might be one of my favorite eras. This concept conveys such a beautiful, relatable message without necessarily being a ballad or a slow song and I really like how the rock elements add some rage and frustration to the issue, really nice stylistic choice here. I also love the Queencard MV in contrast to this one, it’s such a relieving, mood lifting twist but I don’t wanna spoil anything for you so I’ll stop talking about it for now :)

During this time I remember Soyeon talking about how she hated the way she looked to the point where she hated looking at herself in the mirror. She said that for a while she would avoid looking at herself in the mirror. Seeing you cry while reacting to the song was not something that I expected but I get it. As someone who is highly critical of themselves and routinely hates themselves because of it, I get it. This song definitely hits close to home for a lot of people, including me. The line that stood out to me was “Today’s teens seem more mature than I am” (I will try to word it as best as I can, considering that it’s 5 am here) A lot of social media promotes this kind of early maturity in kids and teens. It’s kinda shocking and a bit sad that a lot of these kids are skipping or missing out on their childhood because of it. And it also leaves them open to be taken advantage of in many ways and it’s disheartening.

I was really surprised that I cried listening to a song like this 😂 glad I wasn’t the only one 🫡 this definitely makes me excited for taking a look at Queencard when I’m back in town!! It’s going to be GREAT!

This song hit a part of me I didn’t realize had those emotions attached 😂 glad we all got an unexpected reaction out of it! I 1000% agree that social media has been one of the main catalyst for why people feel like they aren’t “allowed” to have imperfections during times where mistakes and imperfect decisions are low key vital to our growth as a human….. it breaks my heart knowing how relevant this is and how it’s not going to be an issue that subsides in the near future either.
