Thank you so much to reaction to such a long concert! Congrats on the Bingos and they did use to have solos! I thought I’d just let you know that the reason specifically why Taemin cried (it was said in his ment but wasn’t translated properly) was that the part he sang at the beginning of the song ‘An Encore’ was Jonghyun’s part. He had closed his eyes and said to Jonghyun in his head “are you doing well?” and when he opened his eyes he saw all the lights from the different phones and it made him teary. +Yes you are right! They sang two Japanese songs in this concert both right before An Encore which was Diamond Sky and Colours of the Season. PS the Jerseys say SHINee (샤이니) in Korean and your guess about the numbers were spot on! Also they said that they didn’t remember the dance to Married to the Music and that the songs the fans were requesting couldn’t be pulled up by the team so they didn’t do them. The en-encore to them felt like they were in the rehearsal studio pulling up songs and asking each other ‘can you do it still?’

Jess, omggggggg! Thank you so much for your reaction!! I was so happy to watch the concert again/along with you! Yes, I started watching the second you posted the video! I can't believe you watched the whole thing + the en-encore, the commitment!!! I know watching long concerts online and alone when you don't know all the songs and don't necessarily have all the inside jokes can be tiring, even more with the bad Beyond Live camera work and even worse subtitles :') But I'm so glad you enjoyed it, and the bingo card was such a good idea. I was so happy for you when you got your first bingo, haha. I was worried as soon as you started mentioning solos as I knew they wouldn’t perform any, but you did it!! They used to perform solo stages back in the day, especially when they performed in Tokyo Dome. They don't do it anymore; I guess they used to use it as a way to add more songs to the setlist when their catalog wasn't as complete as it is now and also to promote their debuting solo careers. Now they have too many group songs + they all do solo concerts/events for their solo stuff :) Ah, sorry I don't think I said it, but I hope you are ready for a very long comment! Sorry in advance... (yes, I took notes while watching hahaha). I'm so happy to see Onew back and healthy performing with them! I wish I could have attended the 3 Seoul shows, but it unfortunately didn't work with my schedule. I'm glad we at least had the beyond live. I did see Onew last weekend in Tokyo for his solo fan meet though, and I can't even express how healing it was! I love him so much, and he seems really happy and connected to/at ease with himself, which is amazing to see! He told us some of his hiatus adventures. He spent time alone in Japan, walked between two cities, stayed at an old man's Airbnb, biked from Tokyo to Yamanashi, and climbed Mount Fuji! He also recently said that he spent one month in Austria and went to Hawaii, where he became friends with an elderly couple. I'm glad he got to experience lots of things and take his time to properly heal. I'm so happy to have him back. Anyway, back to the concert! haha Stranger is a song from the Sherlock album and doesn't have an MV. It's one of the iconic SHINee concert songs (the SHINee World IV version is definitely a must-see!). Satellite is a song from their last album, HARD. It was their first time performing it live; they waited for Onew and his perfect vocals to be back! I love this song so much; it has so many vocal layers (they have a recording behind for it on YouTube; it's so interesting to watch). Dream Girl is a very loved song in Korea. I think it is one of their most famous tracks for the general public along with View, Sherlock," and Ring Ding Dong. They perform it often, and yes, the hand mics are only props! They really like to perform "older songs" all their songs are iconic! I remember one time they were talking to a BEAST member who was telling them that they never perform their old/debut songs because they are too cringy, and SHINee was like: we can't do a concert without Replay. We finally got Body Rhythm and Juice with Onew! I can tell you that this was very anticipated, haha. I loved it so much he did great! His little body rolls are so cute. Fans started calling them "bunny rolls," after the show. The break/ment between Body Rhythm and Juice wasn't supposed to be there, but Key broke his mic during Don't Call Me and performed the end of the song + Body Rhythm while holding it, so they had to take a break for him to get it fixed. They usually perform the 3 songs back-to-back. I don't know if you noticed, but Minho has crazy stamina; he almost never reaches for water during the ments! Everybody is crazy live. It is not one of my favorite title songs, but I can tell you it becomes my favorite song ever when they perform it live. The fanchants are also so much fun to do! I love how Minho is making sure to include Jjong in the choreo. They all do it throughout the concert with little gestures or making fun of his mannerisms while singing his parts :) View is such a good song. I love when they perform this more laid-back version, and the fanchants are so good! The 1of1 VCR is one of my favorite things from this tour. I couldn't stop crying when I saw it for the first time last year. I'm just so grateful they keep including Jonghyun in this format as well; he was also represented in the opening Sherlock VCR! Both Diamond Sky and Color of the Season are Japanese songs. They both hold a deep meaning. They used Color of the Season as the opening song for their first concert without Jonghyun. I cannot listen to this song without crying anymore. Diamond Sky used to be a more joyful/hopeful performance, Jonghyun really loved this song. It has become a very bittersweet track, but they keep playing it, and I'm just so happy because I love it so much! Actually, this time it felt like they got a bit of the original "hopeful energy" back! The Taemin lost earring part was hilarious. He let them look for the missing piece all around, knowing that he had put it aside from the beginning, haha. An Encore is such a beautiful song. I think it's one of their most famous ballads. Taemin especially likes it a lot. The fans turned their phone flashes on for an event (they didn't do it the 2 previous days) during the song. During the next ment, Taemin explained that he opened his eyes while he was singing Jonghyun's line and, thinking about him, saw the lights and got very emotional. Ahaha, the fire alarm sound is actually a whistle that fans use to coordinate and start singing the encore song at the same time! They are chanting "SHINee Saranghae" :) Hard with Onew!! Aaaah, I'm so happy!! The screams when he sang his "the crown will return to his king" part! I don't know if you can tell, but "Hard" feels so short when you see it live. I've seen them perform it so many times now, but it really feels like the song only lasts 1 minute or so. Hitchhiking is another of their iconic concert songs! It's probably one of my favorites I don't think the Beyond Live does it justice, but the fans are always so hyped up when it starts! You are right, Runaway was the song they played just before the beginning. It's been a tradition: when they play "Runaway," you know the show will start at the end of the song. It's like the "Hey love let's runaway to the SHINee world" signal :) They even play it at the beginning of solo concerts sometimes. It's very cute that they performed it as the last song as well. Oh no, the subtitles were so bad during their last ment. This is what Kibum said about Jonghyun: We said that we’d go on our individual journeys, but as much as (I’m thinking of) this concert, I’m thinking a lot about the person who has specially gone on his own personal journey. No, no, no, it’s not going to be anything sad. I believe we’re always together. I’m also imagining how much hyung would complain if he had performed Juice, and as I imagine that, I’m hanging in there while thinking he’s together with me. I believe it’s the same for everyone. Not in the past tense, but, as we’re doing this together right now… the five of us will wrap this up and sign off and bid goodbye to everyone today” ( translation credit cosmicsticks). Then Taemin thanked Onew for coming back, and Onew said, "Please give the five of us a lot of love in the future too." For the empty section in the venue, it is just how Inspire Arena is made. No idea why the layout is like this, but the upper left corner doesn't have any seats. The last encore song Shawols sang is called Days and Years it's from Atlantis, the repackaged album of Don't Call Me, and basically the message of the song is that we will keep "loving you for days and years" :) The en-encore was so much fun, I'm still so mad that it was cut from Beyond Live! I'm so glad someone recorded the whole thing, a true lifesaver haha. The text on the front of their jerseys says "SHINee" in Korean in a very strange font; everyone was very confused when they revealed the design! And yes, the numbers stand for May 25, 2008, their debut day. I love seeing them performing their songs casually and trying to remember the choreographies. I loved how clear Jjong's voice was in this section! I think that's all from me. Sorry for the super long comment. SHINee is the only K-pop group I follow, and I have been a fan for 14 years, so I can go a little overboard when talking about them. If I said anything wrong, anyone please feel free to correct me! Ah, one last thing, they released a 3-minute video recap for the concert 2 days ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uiyMwY0Hdw). The editing is immaculate, I think I watched it over 10 times already! Again, thank you so, so much for watching the concert! It was so much fun watching you watch it! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I am just delighted to have you here to keep me in the loop and to be able to enjoy their content with more of a respectful lens! You have no idea how comforting that is knowing I have someone like you here with this group! Very happy to learn about all of these tracks and I appreciate you taking the time to dive into each one to learn more about intention and the beauty of their set list! I feel in the future I'll get ALL the bingos and not just 2 haha!!1 Once again NEVER apologize for long comments! So i just discovered your yt channel that led me to patreon. Thank u so much for reacting to the whole concert. Yes Jonghyun is here too.. they left his voice on the backing vocals and let him sing solo pretty much since encore (Hitchhiking until Why So Serious). They didn't sing over him. Also love how the members are very comfortable now mentioning him. They even do his signature moves like what Minho and Onew did in Runaway bridge (around 2:32:32 mark) Also, I know these have been answered in some comments but just to add: Solo stages - these are mostly in their Japanese concerts. For Korean there are some but mostly are just solo highlights squeezed within the grp songs (ex: Key and Minho had their solo dance breaks in SHINee World Concert 5) Flash event or fan events - shawols usually do this in the ballad part. Sometimes it's the lightsticks that form figures or letters (like for day 2 of this concert i believe the lightsticks changed color to red that formed 5 hearts). Sometimes they also carry placards of pearl aqua color that they raise together to form a msg (ex: in 2018 concert 3 months after Jonghyun's passing, the audience formed FOREVER 5HINee which could be clearly seen by the members on stage as they perform). These usually make the members emotional. Speaking of emotional - during their early years, Key and Jonghyun were the concert criers, then Onew and Minho. Taemin usually was the one who could hold it together and even teases his crying hyungs. Lately though Taemin has been the one who cries or gets emotional easily. Taemin's hand in the other members' legs - this is his habit. He's very touchy with his members. With SHINee he is most comfortable and can act childish. SHINee basically raised him up, even taking him and fetching him from school before (Key even cooks his breakfast and irons his uniform). Sorry for the long comment. I'm so excited now to binge watch all your other SHINee content.😊
