this is a little off topic but i forgot to mention it before LOL! fun fact: bada, redy, and leeknow used to be in the same dance crew, justjerk crew’s cupcakes! (i think vata from wdbz was also in this crew, but i might be wrong 😭)

They recently the past 2 years they have started releasing video that show them learning the title track dance with them for the first time and how they are in the practise room with them going over all the little details they also have alot of video out that show them practising for live performance and special stages.

I like this off topic fun fact! Very fun and it low key makes sense! I've always wondered the early days of JJ with the "2nd gen" like Bada and Vata

Love that! I may start adding those as we encounter them! I enjoyed doing that with Chung Ha!

I really loooooove this song. It's so peak teenage/puberty angst in the best way possible! Centring the confusion caused by the mood swings rather than only the mood swings is great. How it's not just a middle finger to adults who don't seem to understand them but a *plea* for understanding from them is also great. And especially how it acknowledges that, even while going through it, you know it's irrational sometimes but you can't stop it anyway! Like, if I was a teenager when I heard and understood this song, I'd be going wild about it endlessly. But still, as an adult, I really appreciate it in a different way because I know the words are coming pretty much straight from the pen of young idols who *were* in the middle of it as they were writing and were digging deep within themselves. A track resonating with all its performers really reflects onto the believability/immersion of the stage as well. It's why I think the dance doesn't look like it needs more groovy moves. Maybe it's just my take but I really associate groove with a high degree of self-confidence and since this track conceptually is all about the lack of it, it doesn't call for it? Having more aggressive and almost stuttery moves really accentuates the confused anger instead in my mind as a viewer.

I can totally agree with you here!! With talking through groove, I go off of the fundamental in which they set up the movement sequences as well as the timbre/rhythm familiarity it also brings. I love your take on it because it showcases this routine in a fun way!!!
