you know not of will or fate but your choice does. choose and it shall become.

"And as I see it, that's when your real problems start."

Brian Miller

Therefore, Preem did not have the ability to choose his fate, and was cut.

Man I've missed Alice being a bit goofy, a bit silly; we've had too much girlfriend-losing and existential crisis having for too long. It feels like she's back now :)

I wonder what this means for Jagganoth, he seems to be choosing his own fate in a certain way, and bound to it in others.

Arianod

...and that's not good news :D

I think he's bound by fate as much as his skin is impenetrable, and said burnished form is evidence of that. He believes he is Fated to Win even though he's "choosing" to reject Metatron's or Zoss' designs- yet as White Chain said he avoids his opponents attacks. He's a pawn of suffering as much as anyone else despite supposedly escaping it, he believes the universe must die because he feels the universe will always control him, he feels the chains of his fate and sees there is not a path out but still clings to and desires one. His skin is unbreakable, his might is unassailable, no prison may hold him and no man may kill him. Yet he still strikes when the false gods are weak, still conserves his energy, still lets himself be shunted through the fabrics of reality and be trapped within a binding of condensed soulfire because maybe he's wrong and maybe he can escape existence without admitting his deep-rooted fear of death.
