Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (261) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Evening folks, (a beaten-up) Scriptor here with the latest dev news!

General stuff

I’ve had my left wisdom teeth removed last Monday: Procedure went pretty well and I’m doing okay(ish), though the huge egg on the left side of cheek gives me flashbacks to the Rey set I did last November... Alas, mine be one of massive swelling instead of a huge butterfly gag; due to the hammering and drilling they did there. 😏😅

Got a bit of pain and overall (very) lethargic feeling too; plus it takes me forever in the bathroom to do my dental care at the moment (since I need dem wounds clean). As a result work speed’s a bit lower than I’d liked to see, but then again I’m also happy that I’m not so beat up that I wouldn’t be able to get any work done at all. They also say the first ~3 days are always the worst with these types of procedures, so fingers crossed I make a good recovery soon. 🤞

Game development

Despite the above I’ver managed to get the “night/sleeping” scene completely setup in DAZ, including the custom Blender props: If I were my usual self I’d (probably) already been renderin’ the first set of images, but still. At this point I’m glad that I’ve been able to get some work done at all, and I’m confident that the further I go along in the recovery the more I’ll get back to my regular work pace. 💪

Anyhow like with the “induction” scene this one sees Kathleen being dressed up (or rather zipped into) her sleeping accommodations. They even add some extra things to make sure Kathleen doesn’t “accidentally” slip out of her bed, since (god forbid) she goes snooping at night and finds something she isn’t meant to see... Though on the flipside this also leaves her wholly at the mercy of any nighttime visitors. Better hope the nuns don’t forget to lock the door behind them! 👀

Plan for tomorrow (and Friday) is to get the first batch of images of the night/sleeping scene done: This scene will come with a few variant paths depending on how long Kat’s been at the convent, so it’s gonna be a pretty big one. As such I want to get started on it sooner rather than later, since there’s still a lot of stuff to be done for the convent. 🙃

Showing off in today’s teasers it’s Kat’s “sleeping accommodations” @rubber convent! Something tight, comfy and VERY hard to get out of without some helping hands, it’s in this where Kathleen will be spending her nights during her time in the convent... >;3
