Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (106) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Good evening everybody, Scriptor here with the Sunday news! ^^

General news

I’m finally out of my two super busy weeks. I’m glad to once again be in calm(er) waters, and although last week was as busy as the one before (and as such I didn’t get as much done on No escape as I’d liked), I’m now once again back to regular schedule, yeay! :D

Game development

Development last week has mostly been on finishing up the remaining renders/images for the desert bandit “playable” fail-state. I’m pleased to report that although progress was pretty slow last week, I’ve managed to pick up the slack during the weekend, and as such I’ve got all of the bandit images done (or rendering as I’m typing this). This means that come tomorrow I can start implementing all of the kitty Kat/bandit stuff into the game! ;3

Aim is to finish up the bandit “playable” fail-state before coming Wednesday; so I can take the rest of the week to start on the new mini-boss enemy & associated fail-state. No spoilers about that one yet, or at least not until I’ve started working on it. ;p ^^

Goal is still to release V0.23.1 before the end of August, although there is a chance that the release will be delayed a week (to early September). It will mostly depend on how fast development goes on the mini-boss enemy once I get started on it (it’s always difficult to estimate before I’ve got the renders done). If I do push the release a week backwards I’ll be sure to announce come Sunday. ;3

Another teaser of the second day’s task; with kitty Kat providing more “relief” to the various bandits around the camp. ;3

Kat’s third day’s task: acting as a “delivery kat” around the camp. As with the other days you can fail this task, which will lead into one of two “punishments”…

With one of those affectionately being called “putting the kitty in the time-box” >;3
