I put a relatively challanging (but not hard at all) map before unlocking the way to the boss.

Map includes lots of jumps, and route changes by pressing buttons at the each edge of the map.


Route in this map consists of bouncy platform and elevators, which are introduced beforehand.


I was about to use same code that I used on previous bouncy platforms at Map_7. However, the existing code did not work in this case.

As the image shows, with bottom part fixed, position change makes points don't match. also, texture twitches violently.


I decided to calculate weight beforehand based on 4 points.


Then it worked as intended.


Map_8, by only having platforms that didn't take up a lot of vertical space, and no background, feels empty. I used a dust effect that I hadn't used since the tutorial area.


Objects with different perspective also helps to fill the empty feeling of the map. But the upper part still feels like something is lacking. There might be the way to improve the empty space depending on the next maps concept.

I'm intrigued to see what the boss will be >:3 Also, there's a notable glitch that happens on this room. There's one spot I land on that makes me hover in the air. The spot is after jumping off the large circle platform and somewhere right underneath the thin triangle platform. When I land there, I float and am able to walk on air. When I try to jump, it'll instead levitate me very quickly as if rapidly jumping in the air (similar to the moon jumping cheat in Super Mario 64 I'd imagine).
