Took me a minute to write this, as I look back and realize I did a lot of stuff last month. It really did fly by though.
The funding goals I set up moved about 20% faster than I'd planned for. Thank you all for that! I've already started spending the "New PC" budget, with the first purchase being a pen tablet. It's been immensely helpful on this month's posters and texture edits. Here's the rundown of everything that happened last month:
- Set up funding goals
- Wrote and released Monthly Servicing short story (BDSM, no loli). Note: I didn't post about this here, so this is new to you guys!
- Slumber Party poster series
- Bought a pen tablet
- Upgraded to Blender 2.8. For those of you not in the know, this is a major jump and long overdue on my part. Updated some of my custom props to 2.8 materials.
- Started building the "Energy Cycle" custom prop
- I'm commissioning a custom character! The basic design is figured out, and I'm having a 2D artist sketch a reference sheet before moving on to 3D sculpting. This will be a long-term project. Some talented people will keep it moving for me while I work on animations.
- TYDtWD Episode 4:
- Voice acting completed. This took a bit longer than usual but the result was pretty good.
- Finally animated the sex!
- Started on outro
- Rough animated ~5 seconds of "Sherry Stocked"
- Group Shot posters
- Fanbox & SubscribeStar cleanup… I couldn't put this off any longer. I made tier graphics for both platforms, and added some much needed Japanese translation for Fanbox. Note: Poll privileges were previously listed as tier-1, but they've always been a mid-tier reward. Sorry if there was any confusion. I changed the description to match. This does not include the New Subscriber poll.
- Worked on a third poster set, more info soon!
You can maybe tell I'm in a bit of a panic over finishing TYDtWD Episode 4. It's coming along, but I keep hitting roadblocks and cranking out poster sets during the downtime. At least I'm cleaning out a bit of the backlog!
Thanks for your support in July. Here's to finishing some ambitious projects in August. -v
