New prop in the works (Pixiv Fanbox)

This one's for the BDSM Bros. I've been talking (thanks, Google Translate!) with SabuTen, a talented Japanese artist who sketches creative bondage props and predicaments. His designs are really interesting, often blending mechanical and biological components in novel ways.

One of his props caught my eye, and he gave me the go-ahead to model it. Since this is kind of a collaboration, I'm taking it pretty seriously. This is the reference sheet I constructed from the comic:

The design is mostly self-explanatory, but the details are fun! Here's the naughty stuff, translated from the comic: When you straddle it, the brush begins to rotate (it's made of a very soft silicone, so prolonged use won't hurt at all). Putting both feet into the holes in the pedestal activates "Auto Mode". Cuffs quickly harden around the ankles and the ring pushes up into the crotch, forcing you into a full standing position. Auto Mode lasts a random duration between 30 minutes and 2 hours. When it ends, the cuffs release for five seconds. If you stay on, the cuffs re-harden and it starts over.

Spicy! I'm four days into the build, and this one's coming together much more quickly than the Box ever did. I've learned a lot about sculpting since then. Here's how it's looking:

Materials are basic right now but surprisingly serviceable. I still need to model the mechanical innards, the inner ring, the inflatable cuffs, and paint on that sweet racing stripe. It's kind of a lot but I have a couple hours a day to throw into it while I work on other projects. I expect to finish the prop early next month, but animations/posters will wait until after TYDtWD Ep4.
