Halfway There (Pixiv Fanbox)

Sorry, not sorry. If you cringed, mission accomplished. Joking aside, however, I have officially hit the 'half-way' mark in terms of characters complete(mostly). I only have climaxes done for an abysmal three characters, but I'm gonna start working on finishing up climaxes for these 29 characters, with a side goal of also posing and animating another 8 before March starts. I don't really expect to make it, but we'll see how that goes, since there isn't a whole lot of time left in the month and I'm gonna be switching gears to finishing up my next release. We'll also see if I end up deciding to cut the 64 planned characters down to something a little bit less. I mean, 32 characters is still a ton, right?

I say that, but I'm not gonna cut it in half. There are a number of characters I still want to get to, so even if it does get downsized, it won't be by much. Maybe 5-10 characters at most. And I've been getting a lot of encouragement and well wishes - a lot of people seem concerned I'll burn out or what not, but I haven't gotten there yet. I've had my ups and downs throughout the process(and the incident a few days ago did throw me for a bit of a loop), but overall I've been pretty consistent. And if you worry about me burning out, just note that I've already got some ideas I'm itching to get to for future content. Some in the 'short-term'(ie, not long after my anniversary), some in the long-term. I've already got an idea I want to do for Halloween, since I was going through some old, unfinished content and an old idea spurred on a possible idea. I won't say anything further on that, since Halloween is a long ways off, but yeah. Even then, I'm pseudo prepping for some things that'll be in the shorter-term when I have the time or don't feel like working on the anniversary stuff.

That said, the upcoming poll will be just over environments. I was gonna do something in regards to a possible CYOA thing, but I'm probably gonna scrap that idea. I've been off/on trying to think the best way to do that sort of thing, and I've just been hitting dead ends. I also don't feel much like writing a story in general right now, so it's getting shelved. That said, the idea is something I've wanted to do for a long time anyway, so one of these days I'll spring it on you when you least expect it. And speaking of the anniversary stuff, though I've not outright said it, the first character is gonna be Aerith. Past that, it'll be semi-random. Depends on who I'm feeling like releasing and who I have done and other such factors. Because of that, I'm thinking I'll come up with a 'guessing game' on who will appear on the next post. If someone guesses it correctly, I'll count it as a point. If there are more guesses by the end than none, I'll do that bonus I talked about. Otherwise, lost to the ages. x)

I'll also be adjusting the schedule a bit on what will be released. I am gonna go daily still, but every Sunday, I'm gonna round up all the characters posted on my main pixiv page, and there won't be a new character posted that day. Then, the next day it'll resume and the cycle repeats until the whole thing is done. Once I'm fully finished animating everything, I may speed things up, but we'll see. Depends on how much time is left over, since I do want to take a bit of a break.
