Poll Preview (Pixiv Fanbox)

Kind of a rag-tag bunch. I rolled a normal DOA/FF/Misc set, but the FF character is going to be in the anniversary stuff, as well as a bunch of other FF characters so... I decided to nix FF from the poll for now. Rather than go full Misc at that point, I just kept the two I rolled for DOA and misc and threw in Minoto since I've been sitting on her model for a while now. It's still not... great or anything, and could still use a lot of work, but it is technically working. Feet are a mess since I have no idea what her feet would actually look like with the digitigradestuff, but overall the model is done. Just been faffing about really.

Might also be surprised I'm bothering with a poll considering I'm busy with my anniversary project. Main thing is that I don't need a break at the moment. I'm making good progress and I've actually been feeling pretty good lately so I'm not gonna skip a poll unless I absolutely need to. We'll see how February turns out, but for now I'm still up for it.

Speaking of my project, I've kind of figured out my workflow. Which is good. I was just kind of winging it at the start, but now I more or less know what to do. One of the big problems I have is actually posing my stuff to animate. Because sometimes, I start animating, decide I want to change the pose some, and often have to completely delete what I've already animated. I've basically decided to focus a day on posing, then the next is animating, and so on and so forth. I've only done this once now, but it was so, so much better. I don't know why I hadn't thought to do this more before. I'm stupid, sometimes.

It also lets my brain refresh. Posing is a more 'creative' thing, animating is a 'technical' thing. Lets one or the other fully rest, instead of expending both at the same time. So yeah, this project is shaping up to be a good thing in the long run as I had hoped.
