Poll Results (Pixiv Fanbox)

Here comes the results of the popularity poll.

So, before I announce the results, I'd like to say something. You guys are as subtle as a monster truck trying to go unnoticed while going among pedestrians on a crosswalk.

Many of you did NOT use it as a popularity poll but as a "request" poll. And while most of the voters know exactly what I'm talking about, the others might be surprised. Let me show you the results and you'll understand. I'll start with the girls.

You'll forgive the image, I didn't want to spend ages on a pic just for a poll :x

So this is the top 3. Kaya is first, phew. At least, there's that. And on the second place we have... Sophie. She's among the few characters in Ominira who never said ANYTHING new ever since the game was released for the first time (so in almost 4 years :x) I doubt people voted for her because of her interesting lore :x

I'm glad to see Biserka arrived at the 3rd place though. I like her a lot. If you want to know the rest of the results, here they are.

For those who didn't vote, you have to understand that people could vote for 5 girls, that's why there are so many votes.

I'm very surprised to see Akane as the 4th girl. I thought her grumpy character would be a no-go for a lot of people. And I'm kinda glad this doesn't prevent you from seeing the milf potential (even if to be honest, milfs are definitely NOT popular since among the 0 votes are almost only milfs (outside Kenzie and Ylva.))

I expected Halcyon to be a bit higher honestly. Sasha too. And Talia being so high is very surprising as well. Is it because you like her new look, because you liked her a lot in the first game? Don't worry, she'll come back soon :)

As for the rest, I let you make up your mind. I makes me laugh that Ishtar got more votes than Carmen but oh well. I get it guys. And in case I was too dumb to get it...

That's the boys top 3... HOW SURPRISING!

Shing is first (the very last voting person made Jimmy ex aequo but Shing has been racing 1st for the whole time) while being, just like Sophie, a completely useless NPC since the game dev started. So that's subtlety for ya. I GOT THE MESSAGE! Thank you!

Boys aside, the next top 3 are two old men (one being also a hobo) and a monster-ish guy. I always wonder "aren't people a bit too bored at the fact that I keep putting homeless and old guys in my games?" Apparently, no 8D

A little victory for Vincent racking 4 votes. It's extremely hard to make a "normal" guy popular when the majority of players are here for the whole "non-normal" part of your game. I admit I grew a bit attached to him. He's really your guy next door and when he smiles he looks a bit dumb, so he's fun x)

Anyway, that's all for the votes.

I won't try to deceive you with false hope, but you'll have to wait a bit before you can enjoy Sophie, guys. She's at a precise spot on the hiring list and nothing will happen until Kaya decides to try and hire her. BUT. There are other girls like her in the game (and there will be more.) Kali for example (who wasn't in the list and that's great otherwise I KNOW she'd have taken Biserka's place.) There are plans for her very soon. Just like there are plans for the boys at Catherine's with the continuation of her quest (which will be the major content of the update after the next one.) So yeah don't worry, you have stuff to look forward too :p
