A project that's been in the works since October, I'm proud to present the fruit of two months of labour with the help of participants in the Discord server: The Christmas Collab. I presented this idea to the server with the chance for any subscribers interested to join in and have their character added to the lineup, and surprisingly, a whopping 16 people jumped on board, resulting in the largest image with the highest head count I've ever done to date.

At the helm of our sleigh sits Hanna, taking the role of Santa, joined by Allie as one of the elves. The original idea was to have only subcribers' characters, but having a couple of mine in place to run the show made the most sense, though somewhat to Allie's annoyance, since she thinks she should be the one in charge by virtue of being the mascot, but let's be real; Hanna's just a natural fit for sitting at the reigns of a veritable hoard of reindeer damsels.

Speaking of, let's get to the actual participants, as we've got quite a list to get through. The four elves getting the deer prepared are Zaya (Zackarias), Lora (Happerry), Kamui (anonymous), and Sheol (WarioNumberOne), whom all seem to be having varying amounts of success.

Meanwhile, we've got a lot of reindeer to get through, so I'm going to list them from left to right, ignoring depth: there's Sheila (LukePwner), Gaez (Mick Jaggi), Ddraig (B-F-T-A using Silver's slot), Resha (Bahamut101), Ginny & Patty (NX78154), Liru (Molfeus), Trace (HiddenLotus), B (DeafMansLands), Lena (Mercy), Luka (Asuna), Shizuka (Shizu), and lastly, Visi (AmoreInc). It's quite the cast, and managing this thing was almost as difficult as wrangling this motley crew would actually be, but the finished product was absolutely worth it. I tried to add as much personality as possible so it wouldn't be just a lineup standing still, and organizing the layout took a lot of time. They're organized mostly by height so we could have a bit of an angled shot to make sure everyone is equally visible and of at least comparable size. Also it turns out that seven of these characters are FFXIV OCs, which is appropriate since that game has an actual reindeer costume. Mine is better though.

In the end, this was a blast to make, and there will definitely be more collabs like this in the future. I have plans for a Halloween one next year, and there may be one for the summer too, who knows? Either way, I hope you enjoyed this project.
