My friends at Immoral Kombat have their Adelaide Fringe burlesque show on again this year with many new performers so we needed to make a host of new 'Fight' cards which are shown on screen before each pair up.

We had to shoot them outside the venue over 4 hours, going from bright sunshine to early evening when this shot was taken and we could get the most out of the lights.

This is Vendetta who just happens to be one of the editors working on the new Mortal Kombat film being filmed in Adelaide.

Above is the original version base photo i used, I chose this one for a number of reasons. She is leaning more forward than in other frames, the front red tassel go caught on the stone and I love the shape which she  adjusted and I didn't like as much and the face is slightly more towards camera.

We then tried some tassel throws and i wanted to use the tassels so chopped them out of thee two frames and added to the image to create the three-point symmetry.

The shots used a three light setup two 90cm Octo softboxes either side of the model and a gridded speedlight behind the model. All three lights you can see in original frame.

Below is the stage being setup showing the 'Fight' screens in use.
