Adelaide Steampunk Festival 2015 

This was my second year shooting at the Adelaide Steampunk Festival, this year the let me setup in the AFA93 Lounge Car, which is where I have setup every year since.  

Constructed by Messrs. Wegmann and Company, of Kassel in West Germany, it was the gathering place for first class passengers was the lounge car. AFA93 is divided into three sections - smoking room, music room and ladies reading room. Built in 1952 the carriage was in service until 1980.

Lady Mechanika is a steampunk comic created by comic artist Joe Benitez which debuted and sold out in October, 2010.

"The tabloids dubbed her Lady Mechanika, the sole survivor of a psychotic serial killer's three-year rampage through London. Found locked in an abandoned laboratory amidst countless corpses and body parts, with her own limbs amputated and replaced with mechanical components"

Way before Studio light I was using just a single Canon Speedlite 600EX in a small octo-softbox and a reflector being held by  Chris, my assistant on the day.
