Nutcracker (Patreon)

I don't do a lot of Christmas shoots, one a year if that and this one was pretty last minute when I was asked to shoot another bodypaint design by Lenniedin Adelaide Body Paint based on the Sugar Plum Fairy from the Nutcracker.

Because there was no planning involved we didn't have a Christmas location organised but decided to head to  Glenelg jetty to get a nice soft background, some ambient light and hopefully a beautiful sunset. Well the latter was obscured by clouds but we still got some nice shots.

The jetty was quite crowded so I decided to setup on the lower level of tiered lookout next to in. One this gave a little shelter from the wind (which was good for the lights and the almost naked model), gave us a nice shot out to the ocean and along the jetty, and so we were a bit more obscured from the public.

While this probably stopped a lot more people seeing us it did give those who did see us a grandstand view to watch the show. Mainly a tourist crowd we had a large group of French teenagers trying to work out if our model was actually topless or not.
