Lola Bunny from Space Jam (Patreon)

Another shot of Ellie from Perth Supanova taken at my photowall of her Lola Bunny from Space Jam. 

Firstly I knew I wanted to add the tail. I found a reference image from the original character design that matched the image angle.

I couldn't find a character shot of Lola that was the right angle and resolution I needed to extract the tail. After searching I did find a hires clipart bunny with a perfect tail, see even the bunny is impressed with it. After cutting out the tail I had to colour match the white balance and up the contrast as well as add some grain to match the photo.

I wanted her to be in a locker room and not on a court so I found a number of background image options.

I narrowed it down to two.

One was of a derelict locker room which featured red doors. The red works well with the blue trim of the uniform. The window on the right is in the perfect spot as a source for the hair light on the model which sell the composition. I also think the expression fits the image almost like an oops, I didn't do it! Another advantage of this image is that the image is opensource and I can use with no restriction.

The second uses blue lockers which obviously works with the the blue trim and is a bit more straight. The image is from a stock library so has more restrictions.

So I think I just talked myself into the red one!
