BTS/Test shot of thatgypsygeek on the steps outside the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre during Supanova 2018. I had just shot Ellie's Catwoman in the stairs and the sun was getting lower and lower and started creeping up the steps into shot. Sun is something I usually try and stay away from but this time I started to shoot Laura the sun was on the entire thing so I decided to use it. I don't really like have people behind in my sots but there wasn't a lot I could do about it.

Scott was helping with the lights (yes he is wearing white pantaloons) and was holding the Mars3 with an octo softbox. Scott has also kindly lent me his 24-70mm Tamaron lens for the weekend, so I was shooting this at 24mm at 2.8/f. We were on the mid point landing and while Laura was on the edge of the steps I was lying on the ground pushed back again the next set, rough near Scotts boots in the test image.. Stairs are extremely awkward for me with my condition and getting down onto the ground wasn't easy. Trying to take the shot while balancing with the sun in my eyes I wasn't even sure about what I was getting.

I was quite happy with the end result though :D
