Green The Destoryer's Lara Croft (Patreon)

Went to Morialta Conservation Park yesterday in the Adelaide foothills for a shoot with Green the Destroyer in her Lara Croft cosplay. You might remember her from one of my favourite con shot of last year, Lorn from Angel/Buffy the Vampire Slayer cosplay taken at Adelaide Supanova.

I walk with a cane now and have a massive balance issue and the waterfall presents a few challenges as it is a 20min hike along a gravel path, and once there you need to climb down onto the sloping uneven rocks and then traverse across the small creek via some stepping stones to the base of the falls where we started shooting. I last shot there just over a year ago and it was very difficult for me back then and I think this will be the last time I can use the location for a shoot. The mobility issue definitely compromises a shoot particularly on such terrain where I'm am so limited where I can stand.  I had a number of shots on mind but just couldn't physically get to where I needed to be.

The shoot could not have been possible with my assistants Leighlan and Loren and helped me with setting up gear, holding lights, and making sure I don't fall over ever three seconds.

There are some other nice spots along the trail I might use if future with some beautiful rock textures but the falls themselves are now on the too hard list.
