Dear Patrons,

I'm happy to release the last part of the map to you all! Finally. Still in WIP form, as usual, but it's very close to the final vision. Feel free to explore the area and do some virtual tourism. You'll find that some roads are blocked by traffic jams which won't be like that in the final. For the moment, it's not possible to turn on the electricity via power switch - although most of the work is done on that front - I'll write about that in a later post and show some pictures.

One limitation of the CarX (vehicle physics simulation plugin) version BEWARE uses is that it limits vehicle weight to 8000kg max and, even more importantly, does not work  with Unity3D versions above the long outdated v5.5.
The good news is that I purchased VPP physics, so this is the last version of BEWARE using CarX.

VPP allows me to move to the more recent Unity3D versions and offers, among many other improvements,  controller and steering wheel (with FFB) support out of the box.
I've already done some testing and BEWARE-work with it, and it feels fantastic!

So the next step for BEWARE, which I'm immensely looking forward to, is merging all the regions together and integrating the new physics - this is the plan for the next update.

Thank you all very much for your patience and support!

Ondrej

***UPDATE (23.06.2021)***  I added the ability to turn on the lights!   Initially the plan was to "use" the Car Plow Truck to ram through blocked passages in order to reach the transformer field where the power switch should be located. That was not working as intended because of the max vehicle weight limit (8000kg) set by CarX. It's just not enough to plow through all those cars.

The light switch is located in the first parking building after you exit the highway (see map below). Just enter the parking and you'll see it on your right - gently ram it and the lights will turn on. This is just temporary but I thought you should be able to experience the lighting, which took me a lot of work.

[Edit 24.06.2021] Fixed repetitive interior lighting of buildings.

Those parked cars everywhere are pretty realistic ;)

I think you have done a nice job with the lightning...did take me awhile to find the switch but I found it just on the inside of the car park.👍🚗

It was a technical challenge getting there. At the moment there are approx. 17000 cars, but the system could easily handle 100 000+
