As the title says, I've been worked on a new Shader for video game characters (models with a single layer surface). This time I made shader from scratch again (also as all the other I made yet) but I tried to improve things like specularity and refraction index on this one. I guess this talk I come up with is very technical related but I have to talk about it. xD

Actually the models I use to create my pictures are directly ported from the game (sometimes with mods). So these type of models areen't made for "professional CG rendering" so this is why they are kinda low quality and full of errors. To get an acceptable result an an professional rendering engine, such as KeyShot or 3DS Max it needs a lot of "know-how" and the fitting materials.

So basically if a model has been made for CG rendering, you can use even more professional materials and it's much easier to tweak them. But if you only have "ingame models" who nobody cares about geometry, shading, vertex and such you're basically fucked up if you want to make some good looking shit with them.

I could tell you guys a 10 year long story about that but instead of doing this, I made some preview pic as you can see. The first one shows the model in the game, the second and third one are screenshots from keyshot and the fouth one is the final render with some photoshop fixes of course.

Alright I'm happy to announce the new Version of Skin Shader is ready to work with every other model I have / I can get. So this time the smut will even looking better then ever before.

Also be prepared for the full version of the pic.

Happy fap!
