Since I have been hemorrhaging Patrons recently - and understandably so, since I haven't really posted much - I wanted to give you guys a sneak peek of what I have been working on.

I've been more focused on commissions lately and so thinks have shifted away from personal projects. I would love to do Patreon specific projects again, but I also really want to continue the comic. So I have been finally getting around to doing just that.

The main reason why I have been neglecting the comic has been my own aspiration. I wanted to keep the style consistent from the very beginning, but since I started this comic, I have shifted away from the traditional lineart to a more rougher one.

I did this because I found that a less clean lineart means that I won't cramp up drawing the lines anymore and a much smoother and efficient drawing process. Before I would just be too focused on getting the lines to look right that my wrist would get sore after a while.

The issue however presented itself when I realized that the comic was still in my old style and I didn't want to shift away from it. That meant I had to go back and do the lines like I used to, which was very stressful for me, given that it is also a lot of work for one page. It made me want to work on the comic less and less because I would always get overburdened by the amount of work left and I would get moments of anxiety.

Eventually, my own complacency got the better of me and I realized I have been sabotaging myself, by focusing on this issue. The lines look fine, one can barely discern a difference and I wasted all this time worrying about an issue that wasn't even one to begin with.

This page showed, despite the few panels, that I can easily work on a comic page in a much more relaxed pace and also get the lines in a decent quality to where the difference to the previous pages isn't that big of a deal.

Hopefully from now on I will be able to produce pages faster again. I have already the next one mapped out for the most part and once I find enough time to color it in and add the rest, I will get back to working on the comic at a steadier pace - at least I hope.

So much for a little insight into my own little quirks and issues. I hope you guys will enjoy the page once it's finished. :3
