Here's someone I haven't drawn in a while:Ryan serving the best damn coffee in his own coffeehouse: Starbutts. - As an extra for you Patreons, I also threw in the file showing the logo I made. ;3

Ryan is a long time friend of mine and he has been less active in the fandom in recent years but is slowly making his comeback. He and I got to talking again and I'm glad to be hearing from him again. :3

I drew this as an early birthday gift for him - his birthday is on February 18 - since I'll be out of town that day and probably unable to post it.

This is actually an idea he and I came up with around 2014 I think. I've been always meaning to put it into a drawing but the task always seemed too daunting and so I pushed it back further and further until it faded from memory. 

With him and I being in regular contact again and his birthday coming up, I finally wanted to tackle this idea. It's different from our original concept, but I think it works out just as well. 

The biggest help for this was again the use of 3D objects for the background. Drawing a coffeehouse background can become incredibly tedious because there are so many little things you have to keep in mind. So using 3D objects just saved me a lot of time and I still managed to sneak in a few things and add my own ideas.

In the end, I really like how the final picture turned out. I hope Ryan likes it and I hope you do too! :3
