This is the place I go to, to get away from it all.

I decided to take a breather today. I've had a lot of things on my mind recently and it's gotten to a point where I felt like I needed to distance myself from everything for a bit. So I drew some vent art, which helped a lot.

Here I played around with the sort of painting technique that I have experimented with in the past. It was an interesting experience to break the routine of my established workflow and I'm really happy with the final result. For the time being I'll stick with my regular style though, as I allows for more flexibility since I'm more used to it.

So yeah, I'll probably take a little bit of a break to get a few things back on track and recharge my batteries. But I'll be back soon. :3
