As of today, HALF of the comic is readyyy!! It's taking longer than foreseen because I felt the urge to sneak in my schedule two other comics, but we're finally getting there fghjk
This is likely going to be complete for next Friday, Feb 16th!! 💓

I'm also SUPER EXCITED that I got back into HSR - soon I'll explore Penacony and meet Ratio and Aventurine.... Dr's tits stayed away from my hands for too long 👀👀👀
I've also caught up with Lantern Rite and I got much inspiration from there too~ hehe

EDIT 2: first two colored pages added!!

I didn't feel so involved in a Genshin update since sooo long, but Chenyu Vale kept me on Genshin for 11 hours straight ghjk
With Liyue being my absolutely favorite region, it made me so nostalgic - I love exploring the peaks in such a calm atmosphere 💜 (it didn't make me less mad that we had no Baizhu in a map entirely soaked of Changsheng's lore)

This premise only to say I've been slowed down with comic progress yesterday, but today I finally  made the first color tests!!
First, I'm very happy that the Magic Brush works very good with colors! I had already tested it with [ Heart of Stone AU ] Golden Tears 🔸 2 and [ AyaThoma ] Meeting break but I wanted to work on a 3rd comic before declaring success haha
Second, I do like the setting and colors, but I'm not really into Neuvi's scent here - its color is not flattering to the rest, but it needs to be visible at the beginning 👀

It'll take some more time, but I really can't wait to show you this comic!! Hehe (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

I'm not sure how much of the upcoming pages I'll be able to show you without giving away too much of that part of the plot I'd like to surprise you with... we'll see hehe (¬‿¬)

In the next days I would also like to spend some time on the other comic (see the hint below) but there won't be previews because I want it to be entirely a surprise 😌

Hi hi!! I've been quite silent the past days but it's been for a good reason... let me tell you~

TL;DR I found great brush options that don't strain my hands and allow me to work better and  faster! Below the story, and the reasons in the 3rd paragraph!

So I bough a new set of brushes because I needed something else to explore - this is the set I'm talking about and the brush is "drawing 1" - and I found a MAGIC brush!! I tried out some brushes but none of them excited me... then I mistakenly picked one of them and I was like "damn this brush works so smoothly", I checked what it was and I felt like a clown because who knows why the brush didn't catch my attention when I had voluntarily tried it out... but at this point, it worked and I was happy! From that moment on... MAGIC happened. 

I never drew so fast in my entire life, never traced such natural shapes with that much ease... images envisioned in the brain flew directly out of my hands with little to no effort, life smiled at me. I started believing I was fooling myself again (kind of the opposite way of what happened with the brush discovery) so I wanted to find out what made that brush so special before the magic ended...

Turns out its thickness is not regulated by pen pressure. That's it. 

So let me explain what it did to me: I work on an extremely old graphic tablet with like three levels of pressure. To vary the strokes' thickness, I have to press pretty hard, which cause me to 1) grip very tight on the pen and 2) channel a lot of mental effort into the line's look only. Without the pen pressure regulation, I can relax my hand and focus on shapes instead 🥺 I still can thicken my lines tracing over the first ones! 

The "drawing 1" new brush by Sabs has a very nice shape which instantly creates three-dimensionality. I also like it that the strokes aren't pitch black so I can darken them by tracing over again! 

In the end, the magic I needed was just the disabled pen pressure regulation on the strokes thickness, though haha if you wanted to test the different feeling, you could try with any brush!

It works sooo well, I'm so happy! I feel like I've found THE way to work on PC hahaha 

End of the ramble! (Maybe?)

Now, I discovered that brush on January, 17th and since then (6 days) I've done:
• 12 Wriolette comic pages, sketched
• 4 Wriolette pages, inked
• 4 more comic pages, sketched AND inked
• 1 simple shading commission (you'll see it soon ♡)
• 2 portrait commissions (one completed, one half way done! I'm also looking forward to show you these!!)

If at this point you're about to tell me I should've taken breaks, I won't say you're wrong but I was (I am) soooo excited for that brush!! I still can't stop drawing - sketching and inking, in particular, it just feels so good now (if you're wondering, it was a rewarding effort before, but now it's effortless) 🙏💜✨

To sum it up, I'm working on 2 comics, 3 illustrations and more comms, please be patient because for some of them the creation is only halfway, but I can't wait to show you the results!!
