[ Settphel ] Sweaty Workout HD (+ process + PSD) (Patreon)

I often say how I want to find a painting style which doesn't completely cover the linework, but this one I purposely wanted to try and paint over the lines... only to realize it doesn't satisfy me as much as expected - comparing this with other recent painting I found out how I like both the process and the look of those illustrations where the linework stays and helps the reading of shapes and composition!

You can see the difference between the Settphel and Ittorou/Rhaayn - the latter have much bolder lines which help reading the perspective and allow the characters to stand out from the background!

The main reason why I wanted to try painting over the lines is giving an even more realistic touch to flesh, but I'm not sure the hassle is worth the result...
