[ Ayato ] The Scion HD (+ process + PSD) (Patreon)

I had been struggling with my feelings towards art lately, for some time the process had been a pain which took away all the joy I used to get from creating. I couldn't picture the shapes I was tracing, nor vibe with the character - I used to read emotions in my lineart, but I had been seeing just lines, empty shells...

This drawing is probably the one which made me snap out of it. I've enjoyed the challenge of putting strong emotions in a sfw piece, while completely shifting the efforts on composition and lights (rather than on pose and facial expressions)!
