BIG ANNOUNCEMENT - A notice to all Patrons (Patreon)

I can't believe I actually have to make a post like this. Considering the kind of work I make, and what kind of audiences I promote my work for, I figured that I was safe from certain toxic factions of the Brony fandom. Unfortunately, I discovered that a member of the Alt. Right movement was not only a $1 Patron for over a year, but was also in my Discord group.

I've since deleted him from the Discord group, and also blocked him from Discord and Patreon. This was after he made several threatening remarks towards me, which I have taken screenshots of for my personal safety. Even though I'm still upset about the whole ordeal (mostly due the fact that I had no idea prior to his messages proclaiming himself as Alt. Right), I'm mostly just baffled that an Alt. Right member was a fan of my work.

I'm a gay man. My boyfriend is non-binary. Both of us are very openly liberal on social media, and I've written multiple stories that feature transgender characters and pro-trans content. Most of my stories feature hardcore gay porn, and other pro-gay themes. And yet, despite all that, as well as the fact that a good portion of my fans are gay, an Alt. Right person tried to be part of my social group.

Normally I don't try to get political, because I don't want to open any cans of worms in that regard. But after the major fallouts that came from the recent election, as well as the multiple domestic terrorist attacks occurring from Alt. Right groups (most recently Tennessee), I have to take a strong stand here. ANY AND ALL MEMBERS OF THE ALT. RIGHT MOVEMENT, OR SYMPATHIZERS OF SUCH GROUPS, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED BY ME.

I don't know if there are any other Alt. Right patrons on here, but they can kindly fuck off. Black Lives Matter. Trans Lives Matter. Nazis and the Alt. Right have absolutely no place in the Brony fandom.
