me personally, jeju isn't jeju without mess so hye won is giving me everything i need XD last szn nayeon was my fav too and i was rooting for her ijbol honestly i feel for her tho i feel like she's just waiting for him to be honest and to pine for her like he claimed he did...like she wants him to say he wants her and she can't close that door with the chance of that still being possible...cause tbf they did come on the show with hwihyun basically saying i didn't mean what i said, i've been thinking about you this entire time, and his actions in the show just don't make sense in accordance to his words...cause how does that love for just disappear the minute she's a bit cold to you which DESERVED esp with the things he said to her. me personally i'm waiting for it to click in her head that this man is a fraud and to accept that she deserves better and to move on cause rn she speaks like she knows that she deserves better but this little bit of hesitation in her mind is having her move crazy which is understandable and real..it's an abnormal situation so it only makes sense tbh. the fact that no other couples have beef the way they do is A. bc 1 party is very mature - like yujung or B. bc they don't talk enough, which is every other couple in the show. she's just always starting the convos but shuts up as soon as it begins bc she wants him to make the first move...and like he never gets it it's so frustrating the man isn't even trying to build a connection honestly so i can understand the lack of vigor from him just makes her more pissed off and confused. but at the same time i hope she gives up on him cause atp...

Jeju Island really is when the gloves come off. I'm invested in the KwangTae narrative. It's heartbreaking seeing how affected he is by not being loved the way he needs. It turns a cliche emotional conflict upside down, because it's often the woman who craves this affirmation of love and the man who for whatever reason struggles to deliver. I can see if from both sides and just by that short introdution to JongEun, I don't think, KwangTae would ever get, what he needs from her. It makes me wonder, if she's the kind of person, who generally is not that attentive or affectionate in a relationship. Because if she is, not saying "I love you" would just be a part of the problem. Of course the main issue could also be, that she didn't love him. I can't WAIT until we get the full MinHyung & SangJeong story. I feel like, it could be just as epic as DongJin & DaHye's or have some parallels. The way they communicate with so much tenderness and directness. It really does sound like there's "we grew up together" history. I wonder, if they like DongJin/DaHye had the same dream, but MinHyung didn't make it, while SangJeong did. Maybe that's why they drifted apart. Maybe like DongJin & DaHye they got serious when they were too young and one of them was not ready for the next level of commitment. Or maybe it was less dramatic and they broke up due to not having enough time for each other. I hope we get their story in the next episode. Let's leave HwiHyun & HyeWon to stew in their own juice and give the Olympian and her surgeon some screen time, please! For final couples at this point, I only see Juwon & YuJung. I'm secretly hoping for a MinHyung & SangJeong reconciliation. There's just something about the way MinHyung spoke to her and the way his eyes keep darting back to check in on her, if only for a few seconds. Her breakdown when he appeared, and the way he instantly knew, that hoodie wasn't hers. There's just something...there. Jeju Island is gearing up for maximum mess. Judging from the preview at the end, it looks like DongJin is finally going to crack. He's been ignoring her up until now, so I won't be surprised, if it's coming out now, but I also don't want to watch DaeHye cry anymore. She's just starting to relax and have some fun.
