The HaruMaki misunderstanding is one of the greatest moments of television. It’s so harmless but so funny and sincere and Maki is SO cute. It’s also funny cause you can visibly see on Harua’s face this moment of “ohhhh shit I’ve traumatized this 15 year old by being touch aversive.” They mean everything to me, truly. If you liked this episode, they did a bunch of promotional variety content for &Audition with games that are super fun to watch! Yuma really shines in those. Another fun fact about Yuma—he became trainee at the age of 8 under the major Jpop company Johnny’s. His maturity and sense of responsibility really stem from that. Thanks again for another great video <3

Also, I'm glad you're having so much fun with this show! Definitely compared to other shows, it doesn't have as much drama so I know it can be a little slow-paced for some. But it's also one of the more wholesome survival shows I feel and you find yourself getting attached to every single trainee! Just 4 more eps to go!

this is not that much related to your comment sorry but i just noticed something and it kinda fit to the being private with personal info thing: I didnt notice it the first time watching but they blurred all the names of the japanese trainees in the letters. or at least the ones that were written in kanji. I noticed that Ks letter was addressed to K which i thought was funny that his family would call him K but then I noticed for a lot of the rest it was blurred or cut of. only when they wrote their name in kana it wasnt blurred.

Yess I came here to say this! I think he also mentioned having family in the US tho I don't know if he meant like his host family or blood relatives. He also just has language genius brain, like he can legit communicate in 4 languages and it’s very impressive (Maki has language genius brain too, but it makes more sense since he grew up in a multilingual household).

I just think that all japanese are very different, there's not an actual face like "Japanese face" there are just some features, not like Koreans that they're really an homogeneous race, and they are more similar between each other.

lol I think people who can pronounce R just have trouble adjusting the level of it--I encounter a similar problem in French, where R is a little bit phlegmy (like German), but I KNOW I go to hard. (I think R's are nigh-universally different and therefore difficult. Spanish Rs are flipped or rolled, in Hindi I know there's two R-like sounds that are different but English speakers can't differentiate...)

also nicholas lived in america for a while, thats why he knows english. maki lived in singapore so thats why he knows english (like thats his dominant language next to japanese). they speak it together 50% of the time.

I am late to watching this episode but the high pitched screeching at the end of thier meal wasn't Taki (he's at the picnic table closest to the camera) it was Minhyung, I rewound to watch it, and I think it's Minhyung wearing a hood right next to Jo. Taki was talking about something else during that time. Lol

the cutest thing about harua on &audition, he wasn't the most comfortable with physical touch if he wasn't the one who initiated it, if he had gave confirmation then there was no qualms, but you could see distress or anxiety on his face otherwise LOL but it's cute to see how much he's changed, and how comfortable with the members to the point he's the clingiest if not most affectionate member now

Tiawan's official language is Mandrin Chinese, which Nico also speaks. Our global line is something else, let me tell you. In I-Land I was all about Juju's smile and now his brain power stands out so much. He is so amazing! It's no wonder he has the nickname Hidden Ace. You guys were so out of control during this episode lol! I do love seeing K baby Nico though. It's so cute. Jo's mom has spoken some of the most encouraging words to &Team and her son. She legit had K crying when she told them how they get to do the most amazing things as idols like save lives, give comfort and encourage people to keep fighting. I'm enjoying watching this again with you guys so much!!!
