The Holland thing makes no sense... Cooheart and Fluke Natoush are both openly gay and amazing bl actors. I saw them both in "Until we meet again" (my first and favourite bl by the way) and they made me cry like a baby.... being gay and being a good or bad actor have nothing to do with each other...

the whole holland situation is so ridiculous ,, sexuality and acting talent have nothing to do with eachother??? :( those people who were like "well look what happened when we finally casted 'the' openly gay person to act and it turned out bad" just have thinly veiled homophobic beliefs and hated holland from the beginning. listen, i did not care for ocean like me nor his performance in it that much, and that's okay. that doesn't mean we shouldn't cast gay actors tf???? i really like his music but i dont think he's the best actor(playing straight *or* gay roles). its so annoying when homophobes try to be like "see!! this is why we shouldn't give roles just because of someone's sexuality" when that had nothing to do with it in the first place. UGH and on that other topic about kit connor and heartstopper. my heart broke when i first heard the news(especially as a massive fan of the show. im so excited for season 3 whenever that happens). like it genuinely upsets me that people are so adamant that straight people cant play queer characters and queer characters shouldn't play straight ones. It's. Acting. and it sucks that he felt forced to come out and reveal his sexuality because people where literally threatening him and his loved ones and accusing him of queer baiting. people don't fucking know what the actual fuck it means to "queer bait" anymore and use it as a buzz word because it makes them sound smarter than they actually are. HE PLAYS AN OPENLY BISEXUAL CHARCTER DATING AN OPENLY GAY CHARACTER??? THATS THE *LEAST* QUEER BAITING THAT CAN HAPPEN???? not to mention literally every other character on the show??? people look you in the eyes and say that tara and darcy or nick and charlie making out on screen is queer-baiting . it's. not. queer. baiting. because. its. not. ambiguous. come! on! people! google what that work fucking means for the sake of my sanity. im. im so sorry for the rant but it's INFURIATING!!!!
