Here's the finished page 39.

I couldn't fit everything I wanted into the last panel, so I turned it to the side. I really like how it looks, and I should do more like this in the future, though I'm not completely confident with it :D

Enjoy :)

Art wise and story wise this is a beautiful page. Text wise I see two typos: lie should be lies and effects should be effect. Should you ever be considering the services of a proofreader, I'd be happy to oblige.

Either Christopher knew Nora isn't happy with her job and how her life lead to this, or he's too pessimistic to look at the brighter aspects of life compared to Nora. I'll go with the former since the center panel showed possibly a crack to Nora's act. Considering she can't have kids, being watched by a merciless boss, and have to go to bad alleys teeming with gangs, Nora may have hide her sadness with a smile hence the lies that Chris stated.

Thank you

I feel like that last panel would be very interesting if it were from Chris pov looking at her. still, I also really liked how it came out like this <3

But fitting everything into small spaces is the whole theme of the comic! Jokes aside, what you did looks great.

Also came to point out typos, but someone beat me to it. Anyway, you've really made me attached to these characters! The top-notch writing and art in your comics are what made me become a patron!

Thanks for the corrections, they will be fixed :) Proofreading however would be a bit difficult, because the text only gets its final form during the making of the page.

I suppose it makes sense that with Nora breaking through Chris' armor with her stubbornness, Chris breaks through Nora's armor with his perspective. The oldest profession isn't always filled with people who want to be there (and often seems like a bunch of people who don't want to be there do it). One wonders why Nora is doing that job.
